pathway 7
Sound System Tuning
The optimisation and design of sound systems play an essential role in sound engineering.
Sound System measurement is used by Sound System Engineers to ensure sound quality is consistent throughout indoor and outdoor events. The sound spaces can be measured, verified, optimised, and the sound systems accordingly aligned.
Front-of-house audio mix engineers use analyser software to observe channels’ frequency and level range from a mixing console or measurement microphones to pinpoint problem frequencies or sound pressure levels. Even producers with a home studios can can analyse your room and optimise for a better mixing environment.
Using Open Sound Meter, our students get expert guidance from actual live sound engineers.
